Happy Wednesday.

Hope everyone is having a great week. I got sucked into a Netflix series the other night called The Tourist and can’t shut up about it. Watch the whole first season on Sunday night in a single sitting. Six hours, poof! Gone. Vanished in the black hole of content consumption while laying on the couch.

I haven’t fully committed myself to binge-watching something in years, but I went all in on this one. Not to be confused with the lame Johnny Depp / Angelina Jolie movie of the same name from 2010, The Tourist series is a dark, mysterious, and occasionally funny BBC thriller about a man that wakes up in a hospital in the Australian Outback with amnesia, on the run from a shadowy cabal that wants to kill him. It has a Guy Richie-feel. There’s all kinds of twists and moral quandaries as he tries to put the puzzle pieces of his life back together. Everyone is so abandoned and broken, plus there’s a great gag about a potato gun.

More than anything, the show makes me want to go to Australia to pick up some new insults. Aussies really know how to sling a proper insult.
