Hope everyone is having a fantastic week.

Allow me to nerd out for a second: I’ve been down a huge Internet rabbit hole this week with Krampus videos and lore. It’s so metal. I’m a especially a big fan of the videos set to German metal band Rammestein. Just like Die Hard is a Christmas movie, I never thought about Du hast as a Christmas carol until now.

Did you know last week was Krampusnacht (December 6)? For those not in the loop, Krampus is the epitome of Christmas-time badassery in Central European folklore. It’s a daunting goat-demon, the shadowy antagonist to Saint Nicholas, tasked with disciplining the naughty while St. Nick handles the nice. He's essentially Santa's wild, horned brother on a mission to balance the scales. Dude prowls cold winter nights like a dark sentinel, sticks in hand, ready to be a menace.

So keep your mischief in check. Especially when it comes to complaining about the refs, Patrick Mahomes. Remember, Krampus is out there, probably trying to clinch his fantasy football league title. Dude is definitely keeping score.
